The Unicorn
Chief's and Petty Officers Curling Club has existed in HMCS Unicorn's
C + PO's Mess since 1963. This club was formed to provide
both good curling and good fellowship for all it's members,
serving and ex-members of Unicorn
along with their family and friends.
Our club follows the mixed rink format that is to say, at least
one member of the team must be of the opposite sex.
Having welcomed the "Special Olympic Curlers" (Team Rockstars) in our league, we benefit from their enthusiam and enjoyment that show each and every week. This has enriched
our clubs' curling and has achieved a community presence.
Curling commences every Sunday 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the
Granite Curling Club located on the corner of 26th Street
East & 1st Ave. North. |
